Departing from the evocative Alcantara Gorges, the quad excursion takes you along dirt roads and nature trails all the way to Castiglione di Sicilia — famous for its vineyards and breathtaking views over the valley. Continuing towards Linguaglossa, you will ride along cycling paths from which you can admire the Vulcanetto di Moio Alcantara, covered in typical Mediterranean scrub vegetation. The route takes you across numerous historic lava flows, with a visit to the Grotta di Coruccio. The final stop is Piano Provenzana at 1,850 meters, with the option to explore the craters of the 2002 eruption or be guided to Etna’s summit craters by experts.
