The “N’fennu e Paradisu” trail is one of the most iconic routes of Capo Milazzo, known for its fascinating contrast between hell and paradise. The excursion begins at the “Boschetto dell’Ancora” — a stretch of coastline that has been revived thanks to the efforts of Legambiente and numerous volunteers — characterized by typical Mediterranean coastal vegetation.
Climbing a stairway, you reach Via Manica, from which you can admire the entire city of Milazzo and the beautiful bay of ‘Ngonia del Tono from above. The route continues along the “N’fennu e Paradisu” nature trail, which winds along spectacular sea cliffs, offering breathtaking panoramas. The trail culminates at the summit of Monte Trino, from which you can enjoy a panoramic view encompassing all of Capo Milazzo. Along the way, visitors can observe a variety of plants and animals typical of the Mediterranean environment, making this excursion a unique experience for nature and trekking lovers.
This route, with its blend of natural beauty and spectacular panoramas, offers total immersion in the Mediterranean landscape, making every step an exploration of local flora and fauna. The combination of coastal scenery and mountain vistas makes “La Manica” an unmissable excursion for those visiting Milazzo who want to discover the hidden wonders of this corner of Sicily.
Recommended excursion kit: hiking or sports shoes, drinking water, sunscreen, and a hat. For those who wish to swim in the sea, water/reef sandals and a snorkel mask are strongly recommended to best appreciate the seabed.
