The Panarea – Stromboli Evening Mini Cruise is a must-do experience for an unforgettable adventure among the Aeolian Islands. Departure from Milazzo port at 11:30 AM; at 12:00 we set course for Panarea, the smallest and most enchanting of the Aeolian Islands, arriving and docking at the port of San Pietro.

The picturesque village of San Pietro welcomes visitors with its white houses set amid colorful nature. The village’s narrow streets, dotted with restaurants, small shops, and boutiques, lead to the main points of interest: the Church of San Pietro with its mosaic and panoramic terrace, the Cala degli Zimmari with its unique sandy beach, and the Capo Milazzese headland with the evocative Baia Cala Junco. This breathtakingly colorful cove features a small pebble beach and, above, the remains of a prehistoric Bronze Age village.

At 4:00 PM we depart for Stromboli, crossing the ancient volcanic caldera of Panarea and admiring the islets and rocks that form a mini-archipelago: Formiche, Dattilo, Panarelli, Lisca Nera, Bottaro, Lisca Bianca, Basiluzzo, and Punta Spinazzola. Stromboli, the “black giant” rising majestically from the blue sea, is one of the world’s most active volcanoes. From the port of San Vincenzo “Scari” you can explore the long black beaches and visit the Church of San Vincenzo, which offers a panoramic view over Strombolicchio — the “grandfather of Stromboli” — with its lighthouse.

Continuing on, you’ll reach the “Casa di Ingrid” — today a museum dedicated to the famous film “Stromboli, Land of God” by Roberto Rossellini with Ingrid Bergman. As evening falls, while others dine or dance elsewhere, on Stromboli you live the thrill of boarding a boat to admire the Sciara del Fuoco from the sea, watching the spectacle of glowing lava fragments. During effusive eruptions, like that of 2019, you can see a river of lava sliding down the slope before plunging into the sea, releasing impressive columns of steam.
