The Lipari – Vulcano Mini Cruise departs from the port of Milazzo, marking the beginning of an unforgettable journey to the enchanting islands of Lipari and Vulcano. In Lipari, we recommend starting your visit from the port of Marina Corta. Crossing Piazza Ugo di Sant’Onofrio, surrounded by bars and traditional restaurants, you will reach the impressive Lipari Castle, also known as the Acropolis. Within its ancient walls, you can explore the Cathedral of San Bartolomeo, the archaeological area, an ancient monastery and the Luigi Bernabò Brea Archaeological Museum, home to an important collection of historical artefacts.

To experience the authentic Aeolian atmosphere, stroll along Corso Vittorio Emanuele or Via Garibaldi, where a maze of narrow streets and traditional shops captures the unique charm of the island. If you prefer to admire Lipari’s landscapes, a guided bus tour offers panoramic views of some of the island’s most beautiful and scenic spots.

The second stop of the cruise takes you to Vulcano, home to one of the archipelago’s active volcanoes. Although its last major eruption dates back to 1888–1890, the island still welcomes visitors with its distinctive sulphurous scent, produced by ongoing volcanic activity. After disembarking, you can explore the area near the port, traditionally known for its thermal and volcanic features. The Black Sand Beaches, with their fine volcanic sand, offer a unique setting for swimming and relaxing by the sea.

For those seeking adventure, a hike to the Gran Cratere della Fossa is an unforgettable experience. From the top, you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views. Other highlights include Vulcanello and the island’s western coastline, home to the Grotta del Cavallo, the Pool of Venus and the distinctive lion-shaped rock formation. Further south, the picturesque Gelso Lighthouse completes the itinerary. The return journey departs from Vulcano at 4:00 PM, with arrival in Milazzo expected at around 5:45 PM.
